Operating across 5 continents in over 200 countries, they are now entering the next phase of growth and, in line with that strategy, are looking for experienced Engineers to manage teams maintaining service excellence to clients on mine sites across Africa.
The primary purpose of the role is to lead and manage the onsite service team and manage the day-to-day operational relationship with the customer to deliver the contracted services and achieve agreed KPIs. Through a close customer working relationship the Service and Maintenance Manager will always strive for opportunities to reduce operating costs to the customer while improving operational profitability.
Principal Accountabilities for the role include:
· Safe work performance of the service team and personnel
· Leadership and management of site service team.
· Decision making authority for:
o Assigned staff and resources to deliver agreed budget
o Service performance
o Expenses incurred within area of responsibility
· Delivery of customer service contract within agreed service performance parameters
· Production of monthly customer management report
· Management of customer resources requirements, supply and forecasting
· Ensuring customer payments are on time.
· Customer relationship management.
· Working with manufacturer representatives when they visit the customer.
· Production of customer annual budget and budget forecast revisions.
· Contribution to customer strategy development and implementation
