Our client’s mission is to acquire, explore, develop and mine high quality mineral assets in the West African country of Burkina Faso. Burkina Faso is considered to be highly prospective for the large gold deposits and has been the subject of much recent corporate activity involving major gold mining companies.
This ASX listed company has been operating in Burkina Faso for just over 3 years. During this time the company has discovered and delineated a multi-million ounce gold resource. The company recently identified and secure a significant new ground holding, bringing the total project size up to over 2500 square kilometres.
Numerous exciting career positions exist for tertiary qualified and experienced Exploration Geologists with between three and five years field experience that are ready to join this highly regarded Australian exploration company. Reporting to the Exploration Manager, these geologists will be key players in an expert team, assisting in planning and implementing exploration programs as well as the training and management of local Burkinabe employees.
This unique opportunity is being offered to the committed candidates who seek growth and development with a dynamic company. Previous African experience and spoken French language is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
Accommodation is in a new well-appointed modern exploration camp with professionally catering. The camp hosts facilities that include satellite television, internet, restaurant and bar, a small golf course and soon to be tennis court and western standard medical facility.
