Preliminary details on some of the IMQS organised events for 2010:-12th Feb 2010 – Field Trip to AVIVA STADIUM, see posted news item9th April 2010 – Field Trip to the Galantas Gold Corporation Open Pit Gold Mine at Cavanacaw, Omagh, Co. Tyrone – Further details will be put up on this web site shortly.
June 2010 – The 11th IMQS visit to the Hillhead International Quarrying & Recycling Show taking place in June this year... Details regarding flights and accommodation will follow.
Q3/Q4 2010 - 2 joint lectures (IMQS with the Geotechnical Society of Ireland) to take place at Engineers Ireland, Clyde Road and will be available via weblink.
• Lecture by a senior member of Irish Rail on the DART Underground.
• Lecture by a project member of GSI on the National Groundwater Vulnerability Mapping Project (Possibly given in Q1 2011).
