R.I.P. Tony (Michael Anthony) KILLIAN

Dear IMQS Member,

It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Tony Killian who was a long time member and former Secretary of the IMQS. Tony was well known throughout the extractive industry as the foremost explosives expert of his time and was very well regarded within the Mining and Quarrying community. Tony's unfailing contributions especially to the Annual Review will be greatly missed and our condolences go to his wife Bridie and their family.

The death has occurred of Tony (Michael Anthony) KILLIAN
Drumcondra, Dublin

(and late of Athlone) Peacefully, at The Mater Hospital, Tony (Michael Anthony) beloved husband for 60 years of Bridie and loving father of Aidan, Michael, Mary, Anne, Patsy, Brendan, Sandra and David. Sadly missed by his loving sisters, sons in-law, daughters in-law, eight grandsons, six granddaughters, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Tuesday evening from 5pm to 7pm, with family in attendance. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, Marino, arriving at 9.50am for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
