IMQS Constitution

Introduction

This flourishing Society was founded in 1958 to provide a focal point for all those working in the extractive industry in Ireland. The membership is drawn from all sectors of the industry, ranging from exploration geologist to equipment suppliers. As such, it has a unique role in the country as a forum for contact between the different branches of the industry, enabling it to reflect the industry views in a co-ordinated manner and is recognised a significant representational body with almost 300 full Society members at present.
