| IMQS
and the Environment |
Environmental concerns are a
key priority for the Society.
It is fully committed to ensuring
that rock, sand, gravel and mineral
extraction is undertaken in an
environmentally compatible manner.
For the last number of years many
of the talks
and activities have been
aimed at creating awareness among
members
of their responsibilities to the
environment and assisting them
in the interpretation and compliance
with the relevant EU
Directives and national legislation.
In this regard the Society has
established an environmental Code
of Practice, which is enshrined
in the Society
Constitution.
Below is an archive of IMQS articles
