McGraths Limestone Cong Ltd. brings over 50 years’ experience to the quarrying and processing of
limestone products. Our calcium carbonate deposits are considered one of the purest in Ireland and
across Europe with 99.2% pure calcium carbonate. We supply customers in over 20 countries from
Ireland and our depots in Scotland and Sweden, and a broad number of industries including the
construction, glass, agriculture, industrial and energy sectors

Job Description
We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and motivated sales manager for our limestone
powders and granule products to join our existing team in a growing family company. The ideal
candidate will have the ability to maintain a well-established customer base while identifying areas for
business development.

Job Responsibility

•Full responsibility of Sales of calcium carbonate and bagged products in the Irish market.

•Develop, implement, and execute strategies for optimising the sales network to allow McGraths to reach its sales goals.

•A sales plan for the regions will be used, including a key account penetration program, with specific sales targets.

•Report to management on sales leads and update the McGrath sales pipeline.

•After-sales customer support to ensure that client’s needs are met is critical to McGraths and will be an essential part of this role.

•The Sales Manager will travel throughout the region with direct sales responsibilities for existin gMcGraths’s clients and development of new clients.

•Provide support for trade shows and conferences in the region.

•Support, manage and co-ordinate the activities of the internal sales.

•Work closely with Marketing & R&D departments within company.


Job Location

While reporting to the Head Office in Cong Co Mayo, this role is responsible for the Irish market so the flexibility to travel is a requirement of the role.


Ideally, candidates will have experience in Sales marketplace & lead generation, forecasting and pipeline.
Candidates must be highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and commercially astute and have

• 5+ years of sales experience in a relevant industry
• Experience in Agriculture and Construction essential
• Excellent planning, organisation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
• Networks across the process, agricultural and construction industry.
• Demonstrated success in commercial negotiations.
• Excellent people management skills.
• IT proficient in Microsoft Windows (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM packages.
• Fluency in English.

Relevant third level business, agriculture /construction background
