Ireland Performs Strongly in Fraser Institute Survey

 In News

The Irish minerals and mining sectors were delighted to learn that the Fraser Institute, in its annual survey of mining companies for 2019, has ranked Ireland as 2nd in its Policy Perception Index (PPI). Ireland has ranked within the PPI top 10 for the past 8 years; Ireland’s overall ranking has moved from 19th position to 7th position in 2019.

Some surveyed exploration companies noted Ireland’s coordinated efforts across government departments and ministries to improve the permitting process and the creation of Geoscience Ireland and iCRAG Research Centre as encouraging to investors.
